The terms on which the portal, its downloads and the data API are used.

What the portal offers

Indicators with their methodology sheets, bulletins, reports, the register of sources and downloads on the Chilean beekeeping sector, produced by Apicultura Lab from public sources that each item identifies.

Using the data

Each figure is published under the licence its sources allow, and each indicator’s sheet states it together with the attribution line: the originating body, the capture date and the fingerprint of the source file. Anyone reusing the data follows that licence and that attribution. Some series come from sources that do not allow commercial use, and their sheet says so.

Accuracy and currency

Figures are published with their observation status and their methodology sheet. Whether an administrative act is in force, and whether a register is accurate, is for the body that issues it and for those who declare to it. The laboratory answers for its own calculations and corrects its mistakes in the public errata register. The data are provided without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose: the method and limitations of each series are on its sheet.

The API

The read API is public, needs no key and limits the number of queries per minute. A consortium institution that needs a higher quota can ask for a key, which is issued under a written agreement and can be revoked.

It is forbidden to try to identify a person from the published aggregates, or to combine them with other sources for that purpose.

Changes

These terms carry a version and a date, and each change is published on this page with its new version.
